Once you have a corporation, you will have to fulfill certain yearly legal obligations:<\/p>\n

  1. File your annual declaration with the Corporate registry (Federal or Provincial) within the delay required<\/li>\n
  2. Acquit any fees at the Corporate registry when you file your annual declaration<\/li>\n
  3. Prepare annual resolutions approving the financial statements of the corporation and file the annual resolutions into your minute book<\/li>\n
  4. Inform the Corporate registry (Federal or Provincial) of any changes made in your business (ex. your name, address, directors…etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you have not filed your annual declarations for two consecutive years, the government will dissolve your corporation.
